Sabajon is a 2018 war metal single by Jonathan Young. The single contains 2 tracks, spanning 7 minutes and 8 seconds of music. The single’s 2 tracks are covers of the famous Sabaton songs “Shiroyama” and “The Last Stand”. The first track, “Shiroyama”, sounds pretty much identical to the actual song. However, Jonathan Young’s signature vocals are what really make it stand out from the original, enhancing the cover.

The second track, “The Last Stand”, is my favorite track out of the 2 on the single. It slightly diverges from the original, having a few instrumentation quirks which make it sound slightly different. Again, Jonathan Young’s vocals on this track are what really make this cover great, going with the instrumentation that captures the original song’s essence very well.

Overall, Sabajon is a great single which contains 2 great covers of 2 already great songs. Jonathan Young’s flawlessly delivered signature vocals add to the cover’s sound, which make them sound just as good as the original song. There’s nothing to complain about here!
