The Glorification of Sexual Depravation is a 2012 pornogrind album by the band Stoma. It is 15 tracks long, spanning 27 minutes and 58 seconds. The album is notable for its incredibly intense instrumentation, which is present in all 15 tracks (and in some tracks even amplified!) on the album. The album’s tracks are relatively short in length, usually only being about 1-2 minutes in length. Despite this, the album’s tracks get a lot done in a very brief time frame.
The album delivers high energy tracks which manage to deliver some incredibly intense vocals to match. This can be seen especially in tracks like “Tag Team Gangbang”, which deliver some of the most unrestrained instrumentation that you’ll ever hear.
At times, however, the album lacks memorable tracks, with its sound being too consistent at times. Still, there are many tracks that are memorable for their aforementioned unhinged sound, which compensate for this flaw. You won’t be getting bored while listening to the album, that’s for sure.
A notable departure from the rest of the album is the track “Der Lechenfresser”. Aside from it being usually long (compared to the rest of the album’s 14 tracks), it contains a sample of trumpets being played, which lasts over 30 seconds. After the sample is done playing, it of course kicks into full pornogrind mode, with the intense vocals kicking in soon after the intense instrumentation does. An interesting sample choice for a pornogrind album for sure.
My favorite tracks from this album are “Tag Team Gangbang”, “Totally Nullo”, “Spineless Coward”, and “Diarrhea Bukkakke”.
Overall, The Glorification of Sexual Depravation is an album with unhinged sound that fans of the genre are sure to love. With its at times thunderous, monstrous sound, this one is sure to be a hit for those who enjoy the signature intensity of pornogrind.
