Saatana kutsuu minua is a 2009 punk rock EP by Kivesveto Go Go. It has 4 tracks, spanning 8 minutes and 14 seconds of music. It’s a very brief EP, with the longest track being a little over 2 minutes. Despite this, the album makes time for some pretty great punk rock tracks which have great instrumentation and vocals. Speaking of which, the vocals to this album are all in Finnish (which can be inferred from the titles of the tracks). In case you were wondering, the title, according to Google Translate, translates to “Satan is calling me”.
The best track out of the 4 that are featured on the EP has to be “Resilar Risto”, which is where the EP’s key sound shines the most. Everything that makes the EP great is exemplified in that track, with all the important elements being done greatly in its relatively short run time.
Overall, Saatana kutsuu minua is a short but sweet Finnish punk rock EP which offers up a great punk rock sound. Admittedly, it’s not groundbreaking by any means, but the quality of the music outshines this fact. Definitely worth a listen or two.
Overall rating:
8.8/10
