Jobie Reviews Music 90: Stvore (album) by Stvore. Requested by F63.

Stvore is a 2014 Russian heavy metal album by the band Stvore. The album contains 10 tracks, spanning 43 minutes of music. The album is also the band’s debut album (hence the self-titling). It’s a pretty amazing debut album at that, with awesome instrumentation and vocals that go perfectly with the sound that Stvore delivers.

The riff-filled album is filled with quality tracks, such as the track “Ritual (The Ritual)”, which also contains a sick section at around 2 minutes into the song. The track “Do I Posle (Before and After)” in particular is a head-bang worthy track - probably one of the best tracks on the album.

Doing a little bit of research, I managed to find the lyrics for some of the songs on this album. If we’re to believe that Google Translate got the lyrics mostly correct, then the lyrics to the tracks on this album are actually quite nice.

Some of my favorite tracks from this album include “Byt Dalshe (To Be Farther)”, “Ritual (The Ritual)”, and “Do I Posle (Before and After)”.

Overall, Stvore is a great album with awesome instrumentation and vocals to match. The great vocals are accompanied by equally nice lyrics, and overall the album is a very enjoyable listen. The album also never has any “weak points”, so to speak, since every track is of high quality. There’s nothing to really complain about here, it’s just an all around good album. Nicely done.

Overall rating:

9/10
