The Human Error is a 2011 electro rock album by the band A Fallen Mind. It contains 8 tracks, spanning 27 minutes of music. The album’s lyrical content centers around mostly political themes, with a few exceptions. The music itself is a powerful explosion of kickass, highly energetic guitar melodies which all have incredible vocals and instrumentation.
The track’s politically motivated lyrics can be described as very liberal, with “The Animal Song” in particular being a put down of homophobes. No matter where you stand on the political spectrum, however, you can certainly appreciate how the vocals are delivered. They strike a certain balance between regular vocals and screamy ones (although screamy vocals would be welcome as well), being easy to understand while still being powerful in nature. The lyrics in general pack a punch, saying what they need to effectively and greatly.
The music itself is great too, with great, highly paced instrumentation encompassing 27 minutes of powerful melodies. The guitar sound on this album is the most defining part about the album’s sound, being one of the key components of its composition.
My favorite tracks from this album are “The Animal Song”, “You Are Free (Do As We Tell You)”, and “Burn, Motherfucker”.
Overall, The Human Error is a great listen, taking its listeners on a high energy ride filled with A Fallen Mind’s incredible, powerful vocals delivery, with a sweet guitar that makes the album instantly recognizable. With hits like “Burn, Motherfucker” lining the album, this one is sure to have high replay value.
