Jobie's (Bite-Sized) Music Reviews 7: Ain’t I Right (single) by Marty Robbins

Recommended

This country ballad takes a dig at communists, with lyrics such as “You bring a lot of trouble to the town and then you leave/That’s part of your communistic game!” being a part of this relatively obscure song. The instrumentation that the song delivers is pretty great as well, with Marty Robbins’ signature musicianship being present on this song as well.

It’s a shame that this track was barely released at all, with one of the only remaining ways to listen to this great song being YouTube reuploads. In fact, one user on the Spotify forums did extensive research into this song’s release status, concluding that the rights to the song seem up in the air at this time.

Overall, “Ain’t I Right” is a great country ballad from the talented country singer, with the signature elements that Marty Robbins is known for being present on this track. It’s truly a shame that no official releases of this song seem to be on any major music service, since this song is still great, even all these years later.
