Love Me / Love Me Not is electronic duo HONNE’s 2018 album, comprising 47 minutes and 4 seconds of music. The album’s songs contain lyrics that describe multiple stages of love, including the initial meeting and even the breakup stage.
The sound of the album itself ranges from jazzy tunes like “Me & You” to the more electronic “I Might”. As indicated by the symbol at the end of each song’s title (and HONNE themselves), the first half of the album consists of “Love Me” tracks, while the second half deals with “Love[s] Me Not” tracks (songs that deal with the more sad/emotional parts of love).
The production quality of the album is great, with the instrumentation and vocals from everyone involved flowing well over the high quality instrumentation that HONNE have brought to the table.
Overall, Love Me / Love Me Not is a surprisingly great sounding album, with HONNE delivering excellent instrumentation to compliment the well-executed vocals that the album possesses.
